According to Ayurveda this is Pitta Season
Summer is hot, light, and has sharp qualities. The diet should consist of food that is cool, heavy, and bland to counter Pitta. Add more fruit and vegetables. Avoid hot, spicy, sour, and pungent tastes. Emphasize sweet, astringent and bitter tastes. Try to avoid alcohol or drink in moderation.
Start your day by juicing green veggies. Try cooking meals in the morning to avoid a hot kitchen. Eat salads with lots of greens and a few scattered pieces of fruit in them.
Drinking lime juice and coconut water will cool the body.
